Meet the team

     Joe Bradburn

Joe’s got a bit of a Texas-sized heart, even though he was born in Indiana. Growing up, he dreamt of being born under the wide Texas sky instead of the Hoosier State. Now, he’s a die-hard fan of cowboy culture, and while he doesn’t exactly ride horses, he’s got a collection of cowboy hats that could rival any Western movie set. Joe’s a Navy vet, which means he’s served his country with pride and might even be able to out-tough a few cowboys if the occasion called for it. His wife, Lorena Bradburn, is his partner in all things Western. She supports his hat obsession and adds a touch of her own flair to their life together. So, while Joe may not be galloping through the plains, his love for America and Texas dreams keep his cowboy spirit alive and kicking.

Lorena Bradburn

Lorena was born in Mexico but now calls the USA home, where she’s embraced a vibrant life full of creativity and joy. Her passion for music and the arts shines brightly, and she can often be found either humming her favorite tunes or immersing herself in the world of visual arts. Photography is another one of her loves; she has a keen eye for capturing moments that tell a story, and her photo albums are a testament to her artistic flair. Lorena's heart belongs to all animals, but cats hold a special place in it.She’s been happily married to Joe for five years; they met in Mexico and have since built a life together. They run Cowboy Cartel, blending their talents and passions into a shared dream that reflects their creativity and hard work.

Conor Cooley

Meet Conor, a hat shaper with over 10 years of hands-on experience, who’s turned his passion for hats into an art form. Having honed his craft in both a bustling hat factory and a highly prestigious hat store, Conor knows the ins and outs of hat shaping like the back of his hand. His expertise ensures that every hat he works on is perfectly molded and impeccably styled. But he isn’t all about hats—he’s also a huge fan of tractors and trucks. When he’s not perfecting a felt or straw masterpiece, you’ll find him tinkering with vintage tractors or admiring the sleek lines of classic trucks. His love for these machines mirrors his meticulous approach to hat shaping: both require skill, attention to detail, and a bit of old-fashioned charm. Adjusting a brim or revving up an engine, Conor brings the same dedication and enthusiasm to everything he does.
